VINTAGE LATE 1940s STETSON OPEN ROAD FEDORA From the 1940s through the late 1950s the best compromise between a wild western cowboy hat and a tame urban Fedora was Stetsons wide-brimmed "OPEN ROAD HAT".Among those who made the Stetson Open Road part of their personal style during that era were Harry S.Truman ,Dwight D.Eisenhower ,and Lyndon B.Johnson,some photo's of Franklin D. Roosevelt sugest he may have been an Open Road man to. One of the best things about the Stetson Open Road is that you can shape it to fit your personal style.
