Cap is private purchase with leather peak, displaying a matching set of 1st pattern SS cap insignia, and a very nice makers panel complete with celluoid diamond. Judging by the shape and insignia I would date this cap around the 1934 period. On the leather sweatband is the stylized initials "E ZILL" Who after checking through an early Dienstaltersliste showing only one "Egon Zill" who joined the SS prior to 1934 serving at one of the wild camps (Lichtenburg) from 1934 until 1937. Buchenwald from 1937 until 1938, then Dachau and Ravensbruck, ending up as commandant of both Natzweiler and Flossenburg before doing his military service in the waffen SS in 1943. Trouser legs taper in at the bottoms and finish with small slits into seams (see images). Trousers are well used with lots of period field repairs and a few little tears, also some oil staining. These trousers turned up several years ago along with item 1522. Now after all this time I've managed to get them back together and would give a small discount to any buyer interested in keeping them together.
EXTREMELY RARE!! FRUNDSBERG CUFFTITLE A very nice used example at a sensible price. Cufftitle has certainly been removed from a tunic, and except for a small pull to one of the edges is in nice condition. Length is also very good,at 41 cms it would still fit most tunics.

This is a very nice grouping to a SS guy who served right through Kharkov and Normandy and survived to tell the tale. Several of these documents were used in publications by Gordon Williamson and Adrian Forman.
HAND CARVED NAZI CANDLE HOLDER A very nice if somewhat quirky piece of National Socialist history. I'm not sure of the reason this was made, but it could be a christening gift. The two outer stems have the liferune carved on them which signifies a new life whilst the central stem has the Swastika.. Nice carved piece which displays well. 10 inches high by 14 inches wide.

HIMMLER SIGNED DOCUMENT A Vorschlag regarding SS-Hauptsturmfuhrer und Hauptmann der Schutzpolizei Franz Theissenberger promotion to SS-Sturmbannfuhrer und Major der Schutzepolizei, with original hand signed signature of the Reichsfuhrer SS. It appears to be an interesting document from the snippets thats been translated for me pre-war Theissenberger was under sentance of death by the Austrian Government for his association with the NSDAP, but was rescued by the Anschluss with Austria. It also appears he was a blood order holder. This is a realistically priced document considering the original Himmler signature, and worthy of more research.
HIMMLER SIGNED SS PROMOTION DOCUMENT A nice example of a promotion document to a Doctor in the Police who also held the rank of an SS-Hauptsturmfuhrer in the Sicherheitsdienst (SD). This is a double page document, dated October 1944, with a superb hand signed Himmler signature..

Cufftitle is tunic length 13.5 inches long, and is a little grubby with a small amount of fraying to the top edge. But a real character piece !!!! at a sensible price..

SHUTZPOLIZEI NCO'S GREATCOAT Text book police greatcoat, sew-in Nco's shoulderboards, dark brown collar with green piping, of interest is the fine woolen lining, which I would assume is a winter issue item. Lower part of greatcoat has some moth holes which dont really detract from the visual aspect of this coat, in fact its quite stunning looking on a maniquin with all the accoutrements. PLEASE NOTE CAP AND BELT ETC ARE FOR DISPLAY PURPOSES ONLY !!!
SHUTZPOLIZEI NCO'S SERVICE TUNIC A nice clean textbook example of a Shutzpolizei NCO's tunic which appears to have been worn by a Gebirgs police regiment. Insignia concists of sew-in shoulderboards, green and silver collar patches, and what appears toi be a wartime replacement arm eagle with no town name displayed. SNOW CAMO M40 COMBAT HELMET. A well used but totally original winter camo helmet. Unfortunately helmet has been badly store for many years so there is a lot of surface rust especially on the interior but the liner and chinstrap although very dry is still supple. Overall a nice example at a sensible price. Approx size 56 (by the colour of paint inside the crown I would say this was a Luftwaffe issued helmet).
SPANISH ASTRA MODEL 400 AUTOMATIC PISTOL 9mm Automatic, first produced in 1921and adopted by the Spanish army in 1922.This pistol is totally mint and probably unissued. All matching numbers and deactivated to old specification.

SS 1944 DIARY. A pretty clean example of an SS 1944 diary with all colour plates and fold out map still intact, diary doesn't appear to have been used (no entries) but came with two small portrait photographs of the same man,one in Allgemeine SS uniform, the other as a Waffen SS NCO.On the critical side quite a bit of the silver has worn of the SS runes on the front cover, (see images).
SS NCO'S TUNIC (KL TOTENKOPFWACHSTURMBANNE). Just come in along with another Totenkopf tunic, this stunning M36 pattern tunic to a SS-Hauptscharfuhrer. Tunic is a textbook example of an Army pattern M36 (much favoured by Totenkopf personnel)and was supplied by the Wirtschaftsamt Litzmannstadt (Ghetto). Dark green collar has Nco's tress and standard issue totenkopf collar patch with matching rank patch, both machine applied.Slip-on shoulderboards are of the late war variety piped in light brown for concentration camp personnel, with a factory applied machine embroidered arm eagle. Judging from period photographs this pattern tunic was much favoured by troops of the Totenkopf regiments. Also interesting to note that the Litzmannstadt ghetto was guarded by Totenkopf personnel.
SS 1938 DIENSTALTERLISTE...WEWELSBURG CONNECTION An extremely rare copy of the "Dienstaltersliste der Schutzstaffel der NSDAP", This example was used in the SS Schule haus in Wewelsburg castle, and has the second pattern SS Stamp (1936-1939) to the inside page. Any items relating to the Castle has got to be considered extremely rare. As the Castle suffered considerable damage in 1945 and was severely looted by the local population and occupational forces. This example (1938) is the most comprehensive copy printed and contains 530 pages covering names awards and promotions of nearly 14000 SS Officers... Of note is some pencilled in writing around the name of Wilhelm Jordan who was a serving SS Officer and the Castle's archaeologist. So its quite probable this could be a copy used by Jordan. Overall book is in good condition, some minor staining, and outer cover slightly warped...A rare SS artifact !!!.
SS 1ST PATTERN PALM TREE SMOCK Probably the most desirable pattern of SS smock, this example is in good used condition, displaying the usual rips, tears and repairs, but still retaining its elasticated waist, colours are still pretty vibrant, this is an ultimate piece and comes to life when displayed on a manniquin. I do believe this smock has been published in a early book on SS Uniforms. If you have a serious interest in this item, please e-mail me for further images.

SS BLURRED EDGE 1ST PATTERN SMOCK.. A very nice combat used blurred edge smock, this is the so called M40 1st pattern which differs from the earlier 1st pattern smocks with the removal of the concealment flap and the reinforcement placket... As with most smocks of this period the elastic in the waist has long perished and there's the typical split and repair above one of the flapped openings..Again typical with a lot of period smocks this one has had small period alterations to the sleeves...Sleeves have been taken in, shortened in length, and the elasticated strips around the lower sleeves removed, you can still see very feint traces of where they used to be. Overall this is a lightly modified and totally original 1st pattern SS Smock, realistically priced to sell.. Tunic, belt and buckle for display purposes only !!

SS DOT PATTERN COMBAT PANTS MINT CONDITION.... In superb unissued condition, and totally matching the dot pattern tunic above.. Large size, good strong colours , but with a darker cotton tan lining to the interior, these trousers have never had ankle ties attached ,so were probably never finished off , hence the unissued condition, these pants are as good as they come and are a superb match for the jacket above. Rather than having to seperate them I would do a better price to anyone interested in buying the whole suit....

The rear has a reinforced seat and a single pocket again with flap and button closure. Lower leg does up with button and ties (see images). These are probably one of the rarest pieces of SS camo to find, and only the second pair I've been fortunate enough to own.
SS INSIGNIA ...TUNIC REMOVED.. A very nice matching pair of collar patches complete with NCO's tresse and a very nice single infantry shoulderboard. Runic patch is a standard wartime machine embroidered pattern which shows quite clearly where the tresse was machined through the patch onto the collar. Matching rank patch is for a SS-Unterscharfuhrer, and again shows quite clearly where the tresse has been machined on. Shoulderboard is white piped for infantry and was originally a slip-on, but appears on its removal the tongue was cut off. SS O/R'S SIDE CAP WITH SOUTACHE This is a stunning example of a Cavalryman's side cap,cap is a textbook example with the false seam around the crown, and lined in gray cotton/rayon with just the size stamp to the interior. Insignia consists of O/R's machine embroidered eagle and skull, both being handsewn to the cap and a golden yellow soutache correctly applied to the front, This cap was originally purchased from the Collectors Guild, and was taken in by me in a part exchange deal, so cap comes with a pretty good pedigree. On the critical side there is a tiny bit of fraying on one wing of the eagle, and again on the chin of the skull, otherwise a perfect desirable piece that would fit into the most prestigeous of collections..
SS O/R'S STEEL BELT & BUCKLE Well used example, no makers mark, most of the finish gone but no damage whatsoever. Leather is well used and also lost a lot of its finish, but still very supple. Priced to sell.

SS OAK WEDDING CASK. Here's a fine example of the hand tooled wedding cask, which was brought home by a British trooper at the end of the war. He has included a brief account of where he was billited and where and how he found it. It was found in the SS Headquarters in Hamburg. Cask is in good all round condition, and would probably benifit from a touch of furniture wax and gentle rub with a duster. These boxes were given to SS soldiers and there brides on there wedding day and contained a white dedicated copy of Mein Kampf and in the frame on the underside of the lid a portrait photo of the happy couple. The Soldier who bought it home used it for ages to house his discharge papers from the army. Nice SS piece with unusual history.

SS OBERST-GRUPPENFUHRER COLLAR PATCH A very nice unissued example of this very rare and desirable collar patch. This rank was only given to four SS members, Schwarz,Daluge,Hausser and Dietrich, and probably the nearest most of us will get to a Reichsfuhrer SS collar patch.

Both items are in mint condition with one little stain to the back of the tunic, Images might show a colour difference, thats just due to some flash photography, both items are matching colours.

SS SMOOTH COTTON DOT PATTERN COMBAT TROUSERS. These are a really super pair of combat trousers, they've certainly been worn, but are still in wonderful condition, some small stains to front (very small) and a tiny little nick in the material (see images). Colours are still vibrant with the typical misprints to the camo everyone likes to see. of interest the little watch fob and small bits of dot camo to interior are HBT dot material, shows no scraps of material was ever wasted. these are also a very good size 34 inch waist and a 29 inch inside leg..
SS SMOOTH DOT PATTERN COMBAT TROUSERS. A very nice "near mint" pair of the smooth cotton combat trousers, no rips or tears, trousers still retains all ankle ties, on critical side two buttons are missing to front closure and several buttons have turned slightly rusty. SS-VT TUNIC A scarce modified example of the lightweight SS M37 pattern tunic.Tunic is badged up to a SS-Scharfuhrer who served in the Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler Division. This tunic turned up recently in the North of England, from a very old sleepy collection.Tunic is constructed from HBT material, and can be worn as a closed neck or with the neck opened (there is pictorial evidence of this pattern tunic being worn throughout the war).Tunic has a four buttoned front with two pleated breast pockets and two lower slash pockets, back is just normal military cut.Now the only modifications (which appear wartime done) is the removal of the turn back cuffs, and the sleeves lengthened, and the removal of the tab from under the collar which fastens the neck closed. Insignia consists of slip-on shoulderboards (minus cyphers although you can make out where they have been)with grey underlay, collar patches are matching bevo (flatwire runic),arm eagle is standard other ranks embroidered, factory applied. Officers quality runic collar patch with embroidered 1, standard rank patch displaying two pips and rank bar, both patches edged in black and silver piping. SUPER RARE!!! TOTENKOPF (BEVO) COLLAR PATCH Here's a chance to own what is probably the rarest Totenkopf collar patch!!! A near mint example of the O/R's bevo skull patch. In over thirty years of collecting this is the first one I've ever owned. It doesn't come cheap but I think serious SS insignia collectors would know the rarity value of this patch..
SUPER RARE!!!! SS CAPE. A truly stunning example of the SS cape. Introduced in 1934 and worn until the outbreak of war. This is the early patterned example which just had collar piping and collar patches, later models differed slightly with the discontinuation of collar patches but the additions of a metal clasp closure to the front and large silver bullion eagle to the side.... Cape appears to be textbook with a fine black wool body, (calf length). Fully lined in a black heavy rayon material, front closure consists of neck strap with single pebbled button (when worn open) collar has hook and eye closure with a five buttoned front (concealed buttons) Insignia concists of a fine bullion runic patch and matching rank patch to a SS-Sturmbannfuhrer, collar piped in silver bullion. This cape has just surfaced from a very old European collection and probably hasn't been on the collectors market for decades. So here's a chance to own one of the rarest items of SS clothing!!!!

They was liberated from a p.o.w. interned in England, hence the legs and behind having a "P" and "W" plus a white band painted onto them. Condition wise the camo side is very good with just a few small repairs. On the white side there is a little damage around the crotch area which could be sympathetically repaired.Overall these are a super pair of SS camo trousers, which are getting exceedingly hard to find nowadays. Price reflects rarity value !!!!! Colours are still very vivid.
WAFFEN SS DOT PATTERN SUIT Jacket and trousers bother in the smooth cotton material, and both in exceptionally good condition. Jacket has factory applied arm eagle (machine embroidered) and a small repair to the back. Colours are still vivid but appear subdued compared to the trousers. Dot trousers are absolutely stunning and stone mint, with all size stampings to interior. These are the best pair of smooth trousers I've ever come accross, and although are a good match to the jacket, are a much more vivid colour, but so what!! when it comes to owning a smooth dot pattern suit beggars cant be choosers!!!!.

WAFFEN SS GREEN OAKLEAF PARKA A very well used Green oakleaf to White reversible winter parka. This jacket has certainly seen some action, interior has dicoloured to a dirty grey, exterior has been repaired in various places, but jacket still oozes lots of character, and is sensibly priced to sell.

WAFFEN SS HBT DOT PATTERN M43 TUNIC A total textbook example with everything the camo collector likes to see, misprints in the camo print slight material variations on the pockets, darkish yellow lining, factory applied arm eagle which interestingly has quite heavy moth damage to the black wool backing cloth but the grey rayon threads of the eagle and the HBT material of the tunic are completely untouched. This jacket is a definate "one looker" in good condition and a sensible size.
WAFFEN SS HBT DOT PATTERN TUNIC A very nice near mint example, bright colours showing all the normal misprints, no damage whatsoever, semi lined in brown cotton/rayon, with size markings. This is a good size tunic and would fit most manniquins, ideal display piece.
WAFFEN SS HBT DOT PATTERN TUNIC. A wll used, and totally genuine example. It appears this tunic has been dyed, (a quite common occurance at the end of the war) with a vegetable dye, which has now nearly all been washed out, except for a darker lining material the colours are more or less what they should be (see images). Tunic shows signs of wear around the cuffs and to the bottom edge. But at this price, its a genuine bargain for an original SS Dot tunic !!!!!

WAFFEN SS O/R'S M43 CAP. PANZER A well used example made from inferior quality materials, you can see where the nap has worn off leaving a ribbed finish to the exterior of the cap. Interior lining of cap appears to be constructed from a black cotton/rayon mix, and shows no markings whatsoever.Side flaps are secured at the front with two heavy plastic buttons. Insignia appears to be very finely hand stitched with some staining and a small amount of damage to the Swastika. This is a nice used Waffen SS cap which could be restored to its former glory, at a very sensible price !!
WAFFEN SS O/R's SIDE CAP. INFANTRY. This is a really nice used example that has never been on the collectors market until now. Approx size is 58. This is a nice salty cap and the first W/SS side cap I've owned displaying Infantry soutache..

WAFFEN SS OAKLEAF PARKA AND TROUSERS A superb set of the Winter reversible parka and matching trousers, this is probably the best set I've seen in thirty odd years of collecting, no tears or rips, all buttons still intact as are the drawcords and integral belt on the jacket. If I wanted to be critical the white interior on the jacket and trousers have dicoloured with age. At a push I would consider splitting the pair up (which would really be a shame). jacket seperately I would want £1595 and trousers on their own £1195. Please e-mail me if you would like further info.
WAFFEN SS OAKLEAF PRINT ZELTBAHN Late war example, in extremely good condition. WEHRMACHT PANZER BERET Chance to own an original example of a very rare and desirable panzer beret at a very realistic price, unfortunately beret and liner did'nt start life together, I was fortunate enough to pick up an original beret from a very prestigeous American collection, and a few days later managed to locate an original liner. Beret is textbook with the circular weave pattern, and hand sewn machine woven insignia. Liner is also a textbook example which has had the majority of its oilskin inner lining removed. But still retains its maker stamp and date (1940). So basically you're getting a genuine beret at nearly half the going price!!!.

WEHRMACHT PANZER OFFICERS VISOR CAP. A very nice somewhat used example, of a very desirable cap. Belonging to Lt Franz Hilffert. Cap has a beautiful saddle shape and was made by the well known firm of "Schellenberg", Insignia and chincords are all silver bullion and in good all round condition, unfortunately there is some small damage to the edge of the peak and some wear to the lower edge (rim) of the cap, but overall still a nice character piece. Along with the cap is a portrait photograph of Hilffert taken in 1945 wearing what appears to be this very cap, along with a short note on headed paper mentioning the photograph. Also of interest, he's written his name etc under the leather sweatband of the cap, which was too hard to photograph due to the very brittleness of the leather, but any future purchaser can carefully look inside and see its written in the same handwriting as the letter. Overall a very nice original Panzer officers cap, that would'nt look out of place in the best of collections..

WEHRPASS FOR GUARD AT KL MITTELBAU / DORA Here's an opportunity to own a Concentration camp guards wehrpass at a sensible price. The wehrpass was originally issued to the guy when he entered the Luftwaffe,as you can see he served most of the war serving in the luftwaffe. But in 1944 when the luftwaffe was basically non existent a lot of luftwaffe personell transfered over to the SS for front line service or various guard duties, in this guy's case he was seconded to the infamous Mittelbau/ Dora,Nordhausen concentration camp as a guard. This KL complex used many thousands of prisoners as labour constructing the V1 and V2 rockets.
